A project created especially for the festival to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis’s birth.

Legendary tenor Štefan Margita will also celebrate his anniversary this year at the Špilberk Festival. You can look forward to arias and duets from famous Czech operas, as well as works by Mozart, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, and Gershwin.

Carl Orff’s monumental cantata Carmina Burana, conducted by principal conductor Dennis Russell Davies and performed by the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno, will close the 27th edition of the Špilberk Open-Air Festival.
