Reservations and sales of tickets for concerts organised by the Filharmonie Brno

Reservations

Ticket reservations are held for 7 calendar days. After this period, any unpaid tickets are returned to general sale. Reservations can be made up to 8 days before the concert. After that, tickets can only be purchased online or at the ticket office.

Sales

  • On-line: via our concert calendar
  • At the Filharmonie Brno ticket office: Besední Street, Brno (down the stairs from the courtyard of Besední dům). Opening hours: Mon – Tue 8 am to 1 pm, Wed – Fri 1 pm – 6 pm (closed on national public holidays) 
  • At the venue: tickets for the concert can be purchased at the venue no earlier than 45 min before the start of the concert – subject to availability

Discounts for individual ticket purchases

(mostly for concerts of the current season not festival tickets)

80% discount

  • Students and teachers of music at secondary schools, universities, JAMU and ZUŠ

50% discount

  • Children under 15 and students
  • ZTP, ZTP/P card holders (including guides)
  • ISIC card holders

40% discount

  • Brno Philharmonic season ticket holders for concerts held that season (with the exception of concerts where all tickets are sold for a single price and concerts held by other organisers)

30% discount

  • ITIC card holders

20% discount

  • subscriptioners of the actual season of Filharmonie Brno for festival concerts (it might be more for come festivals (more info at the festival websites)
  • Senior citizens and Senior Pass holders
  • FB partners

Students can buy tickets for Filharmonie Brno concerts 30 minutes before the beginning of the concert for 50 Kč.

Conditions for granting discounts

  • Eligibility for discount when purchasing tickets or season tickets must be proven by showing a valid document entitling the holder to the discount
  • The various types of discount cannot be combined

Discounts for festival concerts might differ from discounts for  season tickets.

The Festival on your choice (if set up) works on the same basis likee Season of your choice.

Season of your choise

If you are unable to find a subscription series you’d like or are interested in only some concerts from any of the series (except those listed below), you can easily create a Season of your choice. Choose any number of concerts from across the main subscription series.

  • 3 concerts – 30% discount
  • 4 concerts – 40% discount
  • 5+ concerts – 50% discount

The Season of your choice cannot include Young Blood concerts, Kantiléna concerts or festival concerts.

How to obtain your discount

You can obtain your discount when buying your ticket upon the production of the document entitling you to a discount.

When making an on-line reservation, you reserve your seat (a ticket at the full price) and obtain your discount while paying for and collecting the ticket at the Brno Philharmonic ticket office.

Returning tickets and cancellations

It is not possible to return your ticket and obtain a refund on the purchase price. You may return a ticket (up to six days before the concert) by replacing it for another ticket of the same or higher value.

Season tickets cannot be refunded once a season has started. However; the season ticket is transferable – if you cannot attend a concert yourself, you can offer or lend your ticket to another person. You will give them joy and your place will not remain vacant.
