My Brno Roots, a discussion with conductor Alexander Liebreich

A native of Regensburg collaborating with prominent orchestras and soloists, Alexander Liebreich is among the top European conductors. In 2011, he became the first European artistic director of the Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF) in South Korea, and since then, he has been the artistic director and chief conductor of the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since the 2022/2023 season, he has been the music director of the Orquestra de Valencia and an artistic advisor to Palau de la Musica Valencia. Alexander Liebreich will discuss his Jewish roots in Brno with the director of ŠTETL FEST, Eva Yildizová.
