The auditions are taking place in the concert hall of Besední dům, Komenského náměstí 8, Brno, Czech Republic, at 10 a.m. on June 24^th 2024.

 

AUDITION CONDITIONS:

First round (anonymous):

Solo part:

1. Haydn Concerto in D major, 1^st movement with cadenza

Orchestral solo:

1. Strauss Don Quijote, thema and variation Nr. 2

 

Second round

Solo part:

1. Dvořák Concerto in B minor, 1^st movement

Orchestral solos:

Brahms Piano Concerto no. 2

Suk Serenade for strings

Schostakovitch Symphony Nr. 15

Dvořák Slavonic Dance Nr. 4, op. 46

Beethoven Ballet Prometheus

Rossini Ouverture of William Tell

 

Written applications with CV, contacts, information on the applicant’s education (a diploma from a conservatory or a music academy or university, at least (secondary) school-leaving certificate to the date of orchestra arrival) and overview of previous artistic experience are due on May 24^th 2024 at the following address:
