Ivan Ilić piano

a graduate mathematician, whose recordings reap the applause of music critics
Rejcha’s variations as a show of genres and techniques requiring masterful mastery of the instrument
he work of an author who was a teacher of Berlioz, Liszt or Franck and a close friend of Beethoven
Antonín Rejcha’s piano cycle, L’Art de varier, Op. 57, is a touchstone for performers and also reveals the composer’s inventive work with the variation form. Indeed, keyboard works constitute a very important and extensive part of Rejcha’s compositional legacy (they would fill about 14 CDs), though Rejcha was never a piano virtuoso.
For his merits, Rejcha was elected a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts. The first native of Bohemia to be so honoured, he was the most successful of his musical compatriots in France, where he died.
In collaboration with Bonjour Brno festival.
Under the auspices of H. E. Alexis Dutertre, Ambassador of France to the Czech Rebulic.
