Philip Glass celebrates his 85th birthday! Filarmonie Brno congratulates him with her Chief Conductor Dennis Russell Davies and his wife Maki Namekawa. They both belong to Glass’s best friends, so they will play three pieces Glass dedicated to them.
Birthday surprice? Baptism of a CD with Glass´s Symphony No. 12 “Lodger”, which Filharmonie Brno recorded as the first orchestra in the world. An autograph session after the concert.
