SOUND INSTALLATION ‘hear:here’ (2–8 October 2026)
FILIP DOBROCKÝ hear:here, a sonic walk in Špilberk Park
The installation draws on the traditions of the sonic walk and GPS-based sound art, but blurs the boundary between the artist and the audience. There is no single composer. The work serves as a platform for a collective soundscape – a participatory layer of urban sound design, open to anyone moving through the space. Whilst headphones have typically privatised our experience of the city – enclosing each listener within a personal soundtrack – hear:here offers a shift: a hybrid space in which movement through the area and shared creation together shape the experience of the place.
