The opening concert of the Filharmonie Brno’s latest – seventy-first – season brings together intimate psychological reflection and grand symphonic expression in works by two leading figures of European Romanticism: César Franck and Johannes Brahms. The orchestra will be conducted by its former Chief Conductor, Petr Altrichter, while the performance of Franck’s symphonic poem Psyché will also feature the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno.
