We cordially invite young violinists to a masterclass with renowned Austrian violin virtuoso and teacher Christian Altenburger, who has performed with leading orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, and New York Philharmonic under conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Zubin Mehta, and Lorin Maazel.

Christian Altenburger is a student of the legendary Dorothy DeLay (Juilliard School), whose methodology he now passes on. Since 2001, he has been a professor of violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
