June is a month when our thoughts are often fixated on the upcoming holidays to be spent travelling or by the water. Let’s make the wait more pleasant with beautiful music which is thematically related to such ideas. Indeed, it is water that provides the link – onomatopoeically and symbolically – between the programmes of these pieces. Don’t miss the supreme works of French and Italian Impressionism and the masterpiece Percussion Concerto by the Turkish composer and pianist Fazil Say as performed by the French star Adélaïde Ferrière under the baton of Brno-born Tomáš Hanus.
