Music is very beneficial to our health when we use it properly. This was the view of the Greek mathematician, astronomer and philosopher Pythagoras. Since antiquity, the effects of music on humans have been studied and tested in practice countless times, resulting in the emergence and great development of the field of music therapy today.
The unconventional Mozart Effect project will open up the opportunity to try and experience musical meditation, imagery, relaxation and yogic breathing techniques. In a program of about seventy-five minutes, together with our musicians, we will this time venture into the realm of intimate chamber classical music (and not only Mozart’s) and also relax to the sounds of Tibetan bowls, koshi chimes and other musical instruments. Listening to selected music will also give us the opportunity to look inward and attend to our inner child.
In the words of the Swiss physician and therapist Carl Gustav Jung: He who looks only outward is dreaming – but he who looks inward is awakening.
The programme is designed not only for expectant mothers, but also for lovers of the classics and for those who like to engage in self-development – inner work on the self.
