LEOŠ JANÁČEK AND THE LATE REVIVAL IN MORAVIA / MORAVIAN AUTUMN

How did Janáček become Janáček? More precisely: how did LEO Janáček, the talented but unknown boy from the Augustinian Monastery foundation, become LEV Janáček, the leading figure of Czech culture in Moravia? The book Leoš Janáček and the Late Revival in Moravia, published this year by Argo, tries to give an answer this question. This comprehensive and informed publication will be presented by the author, musicologist Miloš Zapletal.
