Dan Tepfer Yamaha Disklavier

 

The opening concert of the series offers a novel experience, in which live and mechanical music are combined: the Disklavier sends Dan Tepfer’s music to a computer, which processes it as data and lets the keyboard sound out in response. The tones are also converted into graphics in real-time, so enriching the auditory experience with visual stimuli.
