The Brno Philharmonic is celebrating its jubilee!

It will enter its 70th season once again under the leadership of Chief Conductor Dennis Russell Davies, for whom this will be his eighth season at the helm of our orchestra. The same jubilee as the Filharmonie Brno is celebrated by the Kantiléna Children’s Choir, which was founded in 1956 on the initiative of Ivan Sedláček as the Šlapanice Children’s Choir and has been with the Philharmonic since 1984. The jubilee ensembles will symbolically open the season together and – in cooperation with the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno and mezzo-soprano Kateřina Hebelková – will offer the Brno audience the monumental Third Symphony by the Kaliště´s native Gustav Mahler, who with his nine completed numbered symphonies can be considered the perfecter of the 19th century romantic symphony.

When on sale?

You can buy the concert online from 29 April 2025 (8am) and at the Brno Philharmonic pre-sale from 12 May 2025 (8am).

In case you plan to create a tailor-made Season, in which the amount of your discount is influenced by the number of concerts and in which you want to have concerts bound in subscription series that will be released for sale later, you can book a concert. Reservations are set for a period of 30 days. You can then extend your reservation to include additional concerts while your reservation is valid.
