Dear listeners, dear listeners,
due to health reasons, the originally announced soloist Ivan Ilić will not perform at the concerts this Thursday and Friday. However, we have managed to secure a full-time replacement – the excellent Czech pianist Jan Bartos, who is one of the few contemporary performers (if not the only one besides Ivan Ilić) who have Antonín Rejcha’s Piano Concerto in E flat major in their repertoire. Thanks to this, we have been able to preserve the original programme and thus not deprive the audience of a performance of this beautiful, but rarely performed work.
We thank Jan Bartoš very much and wish Ivan Ilić a speedy recovery.
