THE POSITION OF SECOND TROMBONE WITH BASS TROMBONE DUTY
The audition is taking place at 9 a.m. on February 2nd 2024
in the concert hall of Besední dům, Komenského náměstí 8, Brno, Czech Republic
AUDITION CONDITIONS:
1st round:
Ferdinand David: Concertino for trombone op. 4 – 1st movement without cadenza
Antonio Vivaldi: Sonata No. 5 E minor – 1st movement (play two times with repetition, the second part without repetition)
Parts:
A. Mozart: Requiem in D minor, K. 626 -Tuba mirum
Richard Wagner: Ride of the Valkyries
Gioacchino Rossini: Vilém Tell
2nd round:
Antonio Vivaldi: Sonata No. 5 E minor – 2nd movement (the both parts without corepetition)
Donald H. White: Tetra Ergon – 2nd movement („In Memory of the Boss“)
Parts of bass trombone (3rd trombone):
A. Mozart: Requiem in D minor, K. 626 – Kyrie
Leoš Janáček: Taras Bulba
Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 9
Bedřich Smetana: Wallenstein´s Camp
